Welcome to CreatorBuddy (operated at autodm.udit-gupta.com). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a secure experience. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you connect your Instagram account and use our automation platform.

2. Information We Collect

To provide automated response features for your Instagram account, we collect and process the following categories of information:

• Instagram Account Data: Your Instagram username, Instagram User ID, Page ID, and access tokens generated via Meta Secure Login.
• Messaging Data: The content of incoming direct messages (DMs), comments, mentions, and message IDs, solely for the purpose of checking them against your active automation rules.
• Google Drive Data (optional): If you connect Google Drive, OAuth tokens limited to the files CreatorBuddy creates in your Drive (media vault uploads).
• Configuration Settings: Your custom keyword triggers, reply templates, icebreakers, and scheduled publication details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process your data exclusively to deliver and optimize the services offered by CreatorBuddy:

• To detect incoming comments and direct messages on your connected Instagram accounts.
• To evaluate trigger rules (such as matching keywords) and instantly send the automated reply you configured.
• To populate your local dashboard inbox so you can view conversation history and reply manually.
• To securely manage and refresh authentication tokens required to communicate with the Meta Graph API.

4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do not sell, trade, rent, or lease your personal information, account data, or messaging content to third-party advertisers or data brokers. Your authentication credentials and data are stored securely in our database hosted on Supabase (Postgres) and are only shared with the service providers needed to run CreatorBuddy: Meta Platforms, Inc. (to send messages and publish content), Google (when you choose to store media in your own Google Drive), an AI model provider (only the message text needed to draft a reply, when you enable AI replies), and media-download services (only the link you submit to the downloader).

5. Data Deletion & Retention

We retain your information only for as long as your CreatorBuddy account is active or needed to provide you with services.

How to delete your data: You can completely disconnect your Instagram account and delete all associated messages, access tokens, and settings directly from your dashboard settings page.

Alternatively, you can request permanent deletion of all your data by contacting us via email at support@udit-gupta.com. We will process your deletion request within 48 hours.

6. Security Measures

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your access tokens and message history. All network communications are encrypted via HTTPS (SSL/TLS), and sensitive authentication tokens are stored securely in our database.
